Leprechaun Review

The plot revolves around a very angry Leprechaun whose looking for his gold. He escapes his prison kept at a bay by a menacing four leaf clover and begins to terrorize the family that just moved in. He is weak because he has been locked away for so long and the only way he can build strength  is to bite people. And the only way to kill him is to put a four leaf clover on him.
The Leprechaun was trapped in a crate for 10 years until Ozzie takes the four leaf clover off of it, not knowing that the leprechaun was in it. After Ozzie removed the four leaf clover, the Leprechaun came out of the crate, scaring Ozzie. Ozzie told the family but they didn't believe him because he has the mind of a child, mentally slow.
After a while, the family finds a way to distract the little leprechaun, with shoes. He cant resist polishing shoes. So the family throws about 50 shoes outside in the yard and he polishes all of them. So the family got away, while he was polishing the shoes, to find O'Grady to ask him how to kill the leprechaun. He tells them the only way to kill the leprechaun is with a four leaf clover. Back to the house they go, searching for a four leaf clover.
While the family searches for a four leaf clover, the kid sets up a bear trap in the barn to catch the leprechaun. But that plan didn't work out. So the kid grabs a four leaf clover, bunches it up with a piece of gum and slingshots it into the leprechauns mouth. The leprechaun then falls into a well.
In my opinion, the movie is kind of cheesy. The family is scared of a 2 foot tall leprechaun. They had millions of chances to catch him and kill him but instead they ran. Some of the scenes are REALLY cheesy. The leprechaun kills a man by jumping on him with a pogo stick. The man could've easily pushed him off or something. If you want to watch a cheesy, funny movie then you should watch Leprechaun. But if not, then stay away.
